His vehicle was recovered abandoned in a remote desert area on September 14, 1986 in Clark County, Nevada, about 20 miles northeast of Pahrump. It looked as if it were being left for a short time with various articles left intact. Carlstrom is a principal in a multi-million-dollar personal injury suit with a worldwide corporation.
1986 is when my family moved to Pahrump, Nevada. It had one had one gas station, one little grocery store, no traffic lights. It was also about 2 and a half hours drive from where carlstrom originated. Pahrump is about an hour north west of Las Vegas. The route he took was fairly desolate. Death Valley. I am beside myself that I've never heard that anything about this fellow until now! Saddle west was where we'd go for 39 cent breakfasts!
